How information is handled in the current app.

Effective 7 October 2026. This notice covers the current DoseLilt beta and this support website.

About DoseLilt

DoseLilt is a medication reminder and record-keeping app from Himanshu Palleywal, an individual developer. This notice covers the current beta. An adult manages one person’s medication list per installation, for themselves or as a caregiver. This version is not intended for independent use by children or for multiple family profiles.

For support or privacy questions, email doselilt.support@gmail.com.

Information on your device

DoseLilt stores the medication details and schedules you enter, Taken and Skipped records, pill counts, and reminder preferences on your device. It also stores information needed to process reminder actions and manage alarms. These records may reveal health information.

The current app does not require a DoseLilt account, provide a developer-operated server, or automatically upload your medication records to the developer. It has no advertising or in-app analytics SDK. This does not mean that no information ever leaves your device: Apple services, device backups, TestFlight, and sharing or support actions are described below.

When you share a medication list

The Share medication list feature lets you send medication information through an app or destination you choose. Sharing starts with your action; DoseLilt does not automatically send the list to a caregiver, clinician, or other recipient. Review the preview and selected recipient before completing the share. Medication details can reveal sensitive health information. The receiving app or service handles the shared copy under its own terms and privacy practices.

A shared copy is separate from the record in DoseLilt. Later edits or deletion in DoseLilt do not necessarily change or remove that copy. Contact the recipient or receiving service about information already shared.

Reminders and screen privacy

Notifications and alarms may display medication information, including on the Lock Screen. Review notification and preview settings if others can see your screen. Ordinary notifications need permission. Optional stronger primary alarms require a supported iOS 26 or later device and separate AlarmKit permission. Follow-up reminders remain ordinary notifications. Reminder delivery is not guaranteed.

Backups and local deletion

Apple device backups may include app data, depending on your settings. DoseLilt does not provide its own cloud account or cloud synchronization feature. Manage device backups through Apple’s settings and services.

Deleting a medication can leave a snapshot in dose history. Deleting the app may remove local data and cause loss of records; offloading and deleting backups are separate actions. Deleting an entry should not be treated as erasing every record or backup. The developer cannot remotely access, recover, or delete medication records stored only on your device.

Support email and information you send

Himanshu Palleywal handles doselilt.support@gmail.com using Google’s Gmail service. If you send an email, the developer receives your email address, message, and attachments. Google and your email provider process the message through their services.

The in-app Support action prepares an email draft containing visible app and iOS information to help investigate a problem. Review and edit the draft before sending. Preparing the draft does not automatically send a message to the developer; sending it shares its contents through your chosen email service.

Use made-up medication examples when reporting a problem. Do not include real medication details, prescriptions, names, or identifying information about you or anyone you care for, including children. Redact screenshots and logs. Do not send passwords or payment details.

How support and beta feedback are used

Support messages and beta feedback are used to respond to requests, investigate faults, and improve DoseLilt. A support request does not grant remote access to your device. TestFlight crash and usage information may also be used to investigate problems and improve the beta.

Retention and privacy requests

Support messages and downloaded beta feedback are held in the developer’s support and troubleshooting records. No fixed automatic deletion period is implemented for these records. To ask how long information from your request is needed, or to request access, correction, or deletion of information held by the developer, email doselilt.support@gmail.com. Identify the relevant request without adding medication records.

Apple, Google, and other services control their own retention under their policies. Requests to the developer do not automatically delete local medication records, device backups, information held independently by those services, or copies you shared with recipients.

Apple services and TestFlight

Apple may handle information through services such as the App Store, device diagnostics, and backups, according to your settings and its own notices. This is separate from DoseLilt’s local medication storage. See Apple’s privacy notice.

When you test DoseLilt through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares them with the developer. This collection cannot be opted out of while testing through TestFlight. Information can include app and device details, sessions and crashes; name and email visibility depends on how you are invited. Optional feedback may include comments and screenshots and may identify you.

Apple controls TestFlight’s collection and retention. For details and ways to manage your information, see Apple’s TestFlight privacy notice.

This support website

This website is hosted using OpenAI Sites on chatgpt.site. Visiting it sends the hosting service technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, and requested pages, so it can deliver and protect the site. Hosting-service processing is separate from medication records stored in the DoseLilt app.

These pages contain no medication-entry form, advertising integration, or developer-added analytics script. The email links open your email app; information is sent to support only if you send an email. The hosting provider’s privacy practices are described at OpenAI’s privacy policy.
